Department Overview

Established in 2005, the Department of Engineering at Knowledge Group has grown to become a premier center of excellence in technical education and research. We follow a well-defined hierarchical structure that promotes efficient management, academic growth, and student development.

Our department operates on a collaborative model where faculty, students, and administrative staff work together to create an environment conducive to learning, innovation, and research.

Organizational Hierarchy

  • Head of Department (HOD): Provides overall administration, academic leadership, and strategic planning. The HOD is responsible for all departmental activities and reports to the Dean.
  • Senior Professors: Lead research initiatives, guide academic excellence, and contribute to curriculum development. They mentor junior faculty and PhD scholars.
  • Assistant Professors: Handle teaching responsibilities, student mentorship, and academic activities. They are actively involved in research and publication.
  • Technical Staff: Manage laboratory facilities, provide technical support for experiments, and maintain equipment.
  • Administrative Staff: Handle department administration, student services, and coordination of academic activities.
  • Student Committees: Various student-led committees for cultural activities, technical events, and student welfare.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

Our Program Educational Objectives describe what our graduates are expected to achieve within 3-5 years after graduation. These objectives are regularly reviewed and updated based on stakeholder feedback and industry requirements.

  • PEO1 - Technical Competence: Graduates will demonstrate technical competence in core and allied areas of engineering, applying fundamental principles to solve complex problems.
  • PEO2 - Professional Skills: Graduates will exhibit professionalism, ethical values, leadership skills, and effective communication in their professional practice.

Computer & Programming Laboratory
